This page explains how it works. The tool itself is inside your SeniorThrive account.
Your Home Safety Score is about your house. It answers one question: what in my home deserves my attention?
How it is built
Every room you check carries 100 available points. When a Room Check finds something, those points come off that room. Your Home Safety Score adds up the rooms you have checked.
Only the rooms you have checked count toward it. A room you have not looked at yet stays out of the score until you do, so the number always describes what you have actually seen.
How it moves
It goes down when a check finds something, and back up when you fix it and mark it done. That is the point of it: your home tells you where to look first, and the number follows the house.
When something serious turns up
If a Room Check finds something serious, SeniorThrive says so plainly and puts it at the top of your list, whatever the total happens to be. The wording follows the most serious thing still open, so the advice you read always matches the most urgent thing in the house.
Common questions
What does it look at?
Rooms, doorways, lighting, floors, stairs, and the paths you walk between them. Things like a loose rug at the top of the stairs, a dark hallway on the way to the bathroom, or a grab bar that would help where there is not one.
How do I raise it?
Fix something a check found and mark it done, and those points come back to that room. Checking a new room adds that room to the score.
Can my family see it?
Only if you share it. You choose what each person in your Circle sees, and you can change it any time in Settings, under Privacy & Sharing.
