This page explains how it works. The tool itself is inside your SeniorThrive account.

Food Delivery brings the options for getting food to your door into one place, so you can enjoy good meals without leaving home.

Food Delivery is part of Essential, and pauses on the Free plan.

Where to find it

Open Daily Life and tap Food Delivery, under What's for dinner?

What it is for

Some days cooking is a pleasure. Other days it is one thing too many, and having something good arrive at the door is exactly the right answer.

Both are completely reasonable, and having the choice easily to hand means the tired days look after themselves.

Choosing

You will see the services that bring food to your door. Different services suit different needs: a hot meal delivered, a grocery shop brought to the door, or prepared meals you can keep and heat when you want them.

Meals you can keep in the freezer are worth a thought even if you cook most days. They turn a difficult evening into an easy one, and they are lovely to have during a spell of bad weather or after an appointment.

Ordering

SeniorThrive shows you what is out there. The order itself goes through the service you pick, so you keep control of what you choose and what you spend.

If someone helps you order

Anyone in your Circle can help you get set up the first time, and once it is done it is usually straightforward to repeat.

You can also add what you need to Things I Need, in Daily Life, so your family can see it and help. That works nicely alongside a delivery for the things a service does not cover.

Worth knowing

Have a look at the delivery charge and any minimum order before you commit, since they vary quite a bit between services.

And if you have particular requirements, soft food, low salt, an allergy, check that the service handles them before you rely on it. It is a comfortable thing to have confirmed rather than assumed.
