How long is the free trial?

Fourteen days, flat, with no card. When it starts depends on who signed up first, and there is no extension.

Fourteen days. No card to start, and nothing charged when it ends.

When the fourteen days begin

This is the part worth checking before you assume you have run out.

  • If your older adult signed up, the clock started the day they created their account.

  • If you signed up first as a family member, nothing started then. The fourteen days begin the day your loved one joins, and you both get the full fourteen together.

That is deliberate. Nobody should be racing a countdown while working out how to raise the subject with a parent.

There is no extension

Fourteen days is the whole trial. There is no self-serve way to add time and no back door, so if you have seen an older mention of earning extra days, it is out of date.

What there is instead is a Free plan that never expires and keeps everything you built.

What happens at the end

Your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted, you are not charged, and you are not locked out. The paid features pause rather than disappear, so upgrading in March brings back what you recorded in January exactly as you left it.

One limit during the trial

The trial includes one Room Check. Everything else in Essential is open for the full fourteen days.

Pick the room you worry about most, take up to four photographs of it, and the report is yours to keep. Checking a second room is where a paid plan begins, and on a paid plan the limit disappears entirely.

There is no window to wait out. The check does not free up again after a few days, so nothing is gained by pacing it.
