What plans are there and what do they cost?

Two: Free, which never expires, and Essential at $29 a month or $290 a year. Everything else is a seat you add per person.

Two plans. That is the whole ladder.

  • Free - nothing to pay, ever, and it never asks for a card

  • Essential - $29 a month, or $290 a year

Paying yearly is the same as paying for ten months instead of twelve, so it saves $58.

What Essential covers

Two people: your older adult and one other person. Everyone after that is a seat at $10 a month each for the first three, then $5 a month. A professional caregiver is a separate seat at $15.

So a family of six is $64 a month all in: $29, three seats at $10, one at $5.

There is no middle tier, and that is deliberate

SeniorThrive used to offer several tiers with different names. They are gone, and if you find an older mention of one anywhere, it is out of date rather than something you are missing out on.

Choosing between four tiers meant working out which features you would need before you had used any of them, which is a bad thing to ask of somebody at a difficult moment. One paid plan, and you pay for the people you actually add.

The trial

14 days of Essential, no card needed. When it ends, nothing is charged and nothing is deleted. A grace period of 7 days starts first: the family view pauses while the decision is made, and the older adult keeps every tool. If nobody chooses Essential in that time, the account moves to Free, which never expires.

Changing later

Upgrade, downgrade or cancel whenever you like, from Billing. Changes land on your renewal date and nothing prorates in either direction, so the date you are shown is the date it happens.
