What do I keep if I do not upgrade?

Everything you recorded, plus a real Free plan that never expires. Nothing is deleted when a trial ends, and the paid features pause rather than disappear.

Everything you recorded, and a plan that does not run out.

Nothing is deleted when a trial ends. Your account is not closed, you are not charged, and what you already built is kept.

For the first seven days after the trial, the family view pauses while the older adult keeps everything they were using. After that, the account moves to the Free plan.

What stays available

  • Your daily check-in, wellness logging, and goals

  • Three brain games: Pattern Flow, Mini Sudoku, and Match & Go

  • Is This a Scam?, 5 checks in any seven days

  • Your Emergency Card and preparedness tools

  • Home Repair Help, for programs that help pay for repairs

  • Your AI companion, 5 conversations in any seven days

  • Every Room Check report you have already run, still readable

  • Take a Breath and all five Family Hub guides

What pauses

Starting a new Room Check, your Room Check tasks and the full report, My Medicines, the driving check, the daily living, life skills and mobility checks, your stored documents, adding anyone to your Circle, your calendar, Tasks and Things I Need, food delivery, recipes and rides, My Pets and the dog and cat explorers, video calls and Shared Photos, books, fitness videos, Active Living, art museums, hobbies and My Garden, and ten of the thirteen brain games.

Pauses is the right word. None of it is deleted. Your medicine list and your stored documents stay in your account, but those pages stop opening until you come back to Essential. If you upgrade in March, what you recorded in January is still there waiting, exactly as you left it. Reminders you have already set keep arriving.

Why the Emergency Card stays free

Because the alternative is holding somebody's emergency information hostage over $29, and an emergency card should be there when it is needed.

The same reasoning covers the Room Check reports you already ran. Findings about your own home should not disappear because a subscription lapsed.

If you had other people in your Circle

While you are on Free, everyone in your Circle except you and any professional caregiver stops seeing your information. Your emergency details (allergies, conditions and emergency contacts) stay shared with them. Nobody is removed from your Circle, and choosing Essential again restores everyone at once.
