What is a Circle, and do I already have one?

A Circle is the small group of people who can see parts of your SeniorThrive. A daughter who worries. A son two time zones away. A neighbour who checks in on Tuesdays. A caregiver who comes in the mornings.

You already have one. It is created the moment you sign up, and at first you are the only person in it. Nothing is shared with anyone, because there is nobody to share it with yet.

An empty Circle is a normal state

Plenty of people use SeniorThrive alone for weeks before inviting anyone, and some never invite anyone at all. The daily check-in, the Room Check, your medicines: none of that needs an audience to be worth doing.

So there is no rush, and nothing nags you to fill it.

Adding someone

Open My Circle from your sidebar and tap Invite someone. You will need their name and either an email address or a phone number.

When they accept, they join. Essential covers you and one other person; anyone beyond that is a seat you add.

Being in a Circle is not the same as seeing everything

This is the part worth understanding early, because it changes how the invitation feels.

Adding someone does not hand them your health information. You then decide, category by category and person by person, what each of them can see. You can share your check-in with your daughter and nothing else with anyone. You can share nothing at all with someone and simply have them on the list.

You can change any of it at any time, and nobody is notified when you do.

If you are the family member who signed up first

You have a Circle too, waiting for the person it is about. Your parent is not contacted until you choose to invite them, and no trial clock runs until they join.
