How do I cancel, and what happens to my data?

Cancel any time with no penalty. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then drops to Free. Cancelling is not the same as closing your account.

You can cancel at any time. No penalty, no early termination fee, no phone call where somebody tries to talk you out of it.

Tap your name in the top corner, open Billing, and choose to cancel.

What happens

  • Your plan stays active through the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing prorates, and we do not take away time you bought.

  • After that, the Circle moves to the Free plan, which never expires.

  • Your loved one keeps their data. The ThriveScore, the Room Check reports, the check-in history, all of it.

  • You can turn Essential back on whenever you like, and it picks up where it left off.

Cancelling is not closing your account

This is the distinction worth being clear about, because one is reversible and the other is not.

Cancelling stops the payment. The account stays, on the Free plan, with the data intact.

Closing your account removes it. That starts a 30-day grace period with a banner showing the closing date, and you can change your mind at any point before then. After 30 days the information is permanently removed.

If you are closing an account, download a copy first with Download My Data in Settings.

If you have extra seats

They end with the plan. The people in those seats keep their own accounts; they simply lose access to this Circle. Removing a seat never deletes a person.

If circumstances have changed

If your loved one has died, or moved somewhere SeniorThrive no longer fits, write to us rather than clicking through a cancellation flow. Many families want to keep the messages and the photographs, and we would rather work that out with you than hand you a form.
