What is the screen showing me on day 14?

A plain tally of who is in your Circle, what each person costs, and the total. Nothing is charged until you say yes, and the date it would start is on the screen.

At the end of your fourteen days you are shown a tally rather than a sales page. It exists so the first bill holds no surprises, because a surprise on a first invoice is the fastest way to lose somebody's trust.

What is on it

  • Everyone in your Circle, by name.

  • What each person costs. Your loved one and one other are covered by the base plan. The first three after that are $10 a month each, and anyone beyond is $5.

  • The base plan, $29 a month.

  • The total, added up for you.

  • The date it would start. Not today.

  • Who is paying, which is whoever has a card on file.

Nothing is charged by looking at it

The screen is a statement of what Essential would cost for the Circle you actually built. You are not billed for opening it, and you are not billed by closing it.

If you do nothing at all, your account moves to the Free plan and keeps everything. See Can I get more time on my trial? for what Free includes.

If you are not the one paying

Only the person with the card on file is asked to accept. If that is a sibling rather than you, they get the decision and you will not be asked for payment details.

If the bill should be somebody else's, that can be handed over before it starts rather than after.

If the total looks bigger than you expected

It is a per-person tally, so the way to change it is to change who is in the Circle. Removing somebody before you accept takes their seat off the total. Nobody is deleted by that; they lose a seat, not an account, and you can add them back whenever you like.
