This page explains how it works. The tool itself is inside your SeniorThrive account.
Retirement is supposed to be the part of life where you finally get to do the things you never had time for. For some people, that is easy. For many people, it takes a while to find the things that fill a day well.
SeniorThrive has a library of hobby ideas, each with a short guide to getting started. Not a course to enroll in. Just a few starting points.
Hobbies is part of Essential, and pauses on the Free plan.
Where to find it
Open Activities and tap Hobbies.
What is in the library
A browsable list, organized by the kind of thing you might enjoy: Creative Arts, Physical & Wellness, Mind & Learning, Social & Community, Nature & Outdoors, Technology & Digital, Cooking & Food, Music & Performance, Crafts & Making, and Collecting & Antiquing.
Starting something new
Tap any hobby to open its guide. You will find:
How to get started.
An equipment list.
Free learning resources.
Ways to find events, classes, places near you, and groups of people who share the hobby.
The goal is to answer the first questions someone new to the hobby has, so you can decide whether to take the next step.
Coming back to something
Many people pick back up hobbies they set aside decades ago. Watercolor in college, knitting when the kids were small, woodworking before the last move. A short refresh is often all it takes to begin again.
Making it a goal
On any hobby, tap Add to My Goals to turn it into a goal, such as "Learn watercolor". You can then log your progress on the Goals page, under My Health, My Goals.
Sharing with your Circle
Finished something? Add a photo to Shared Photos in Family & Friends and let the family see. A scarf for a grandkid. A birdhouse for the backyard. A page from the memoir. The things you make are some of the most meaningful things you share.
Start small. Stay with it.
