Sleep and mood are the two pieces of your health that change first, and change slowest. Sleep that is slowly shrinking. Mood that is slowly lifting after a hard season. Most of us cannot see these changes in the moment, because the day before feels a lot like the day before that.
A minute a day in SeniorThrive makes those patterns visible. That is the whole idea.
Logging your sleep
Go to My Health, then Sleep from the side menu.
Pick last night.
Tell us roughly what time you went to bed and roughly what time you got up. You do not have to be precise.
Rate the quality, on a simple scale: restless, okay, good, great.
Add a short note if anything is worth remembering. "Woke up twice to bathroom." "Dog barked at two in the morning." "Slept great."
If you wear an Oura Ring, your total sleep and quality can come in from the device automatically when you sync. You only need to log by hand if you do not use a device, or if the device got it wrong.
Logging your mood
Go to My Health, then Mood from the side menu.
Pick how you are feeling today, from a small set of options. Content. Tired. Anxious. Low. Good. Great.
Add a short note if you want. "Lunch with Sarah felt good." "Worried about the doctor appointment."
Tap Save.
Some days there is no note. Some days there is a lot. Both are fine.
What you will see over time
After two or three weeks, tap either tool and you will see a short pattern at the top. "You have slept under six hours for five of the last seven nights." "Your mood has been steadier this week than last."
That is a count of what you logged, not a judgement about it. Nothing alarming. Just the quiet shape of your weeks, made visible.
After three months, you can look back at a season. This is the kind of story your doctor wants to hear. Not "I felt off for a while," but "I slept poorly for most of October, and my mood was lower than usual."
They count toward your ThriveScore
Logging sleep and mood is one of the small daily things that grows your ThriveScore. Not because the log is heroic, but because noticing yourself is how real wellness is built.
Who sees these
Only you, and the people in your Circle you have chosen to share with. Sleep and mood each have their own switch in Settings, under Privacy & Sharing, because they are more personal than most. Many people share sleep but keep mood private. That is a common and reasonable choice.
Your patterns, your story, your call.
