SeniorThrive works right in your web browser. You do not need to install anything from the App Store.
But if you use SeniorThrive often, a shortcut on your home screen is nice to have. Tap it once and SeniorThrive opens, the way any app would. Here is how, on each kind of device.
On an iPhone or iPad (Safari)
Open Safari and go to app.seniorthrive.com.
Tap the share button at the bottom of the screen. It looks like a square with an arrow pointing up.
Scroll down in the menu that appears, and tap Add to Home Screen.
You will see a preview with "SeniorThrive" as the name. Tap Add in the top right.
Done. The icon is now on your home screen. Tap it like any app.
On an Android phone or tablet (Chrome)
Open Chrome and go to app.seniorthrive.com.
Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
Tap Add to Home screen.
You will see "SeniorThrive" as the name. Tap Add.
Done. The icon is now on your home screen.
On a computer (Chrome or Edge)
Open Chrome or Edge and go to app.seniorthrive.com.
Look for a small install icon in the address bar, on the right side. It looks like a computer monitor with a down arrow.
Click it, and click Install.
SeniorThrive now has its own window, and you will find an icon on your desktop or in your Start menu.
Why bother
A home-screen shortcut makes three things easier:
One tap to open SeniorThrive. No typing the web address, no hunting through tabs.
Reminders and notifications show up more reliably, the way they would from any other app.
It feels more like yours. Less like another tab in the browser.
To remove the shortcut later
On a phone or tablet, hold your finger on the icon until a menu appears, then tap Remove or Delete. Your account is not affected, only the shortcut.
On a computer, right-click the icon or open the SeniorThrive window's menu and pick Uninstall.
You can always add the shortcut back later.
