Family & Friends is the hub for the part of SeniorThrive that is about people. Your Circle, your messages, the photos from a granddaughter's graduation, the letters you want kept, the quiet ways of staying in touch without the clutter of group texts.
What lives inside Family & Friends
My Circle. The private group of people you have invited to share parts of SeniorThrive with. A daughter. A son. A neighbor. A caregiver. You decide who is in, and exactly what each person can see.
Messages. The family message space. Send a photo, a note, a short hello. Everyone in your Circle sees it. Nobody else does.
ThrivePics. A shared photo space for the family. Connect your Google Photos if you use it, or start fresh inside SeniorThrive. A slower, quieter alternative to social media.
Family Check-Ins. A gentle record of when the people in your circle have heard from you recently. Not surveillance. Just the quiet comfort of knowing nobody has been forgotten.
Video Calls. A simple way to start a call with someone in your Circle when typing is not enough.
Words to keep
Lower on the hub is a quieter pair of cards, for the things you would want kept in your own words. There is no rush with either one. Write a little whenever you feel ready.
Letters to Loved Ones. Personal letters and messages for the people you love, to read or listen to one day. You can write a letter or record it in your own voice. Letters stay private in your account and are never shown to your family in the app. When you are ready, they become a printable keepsake you keep with your important papers.
My Final Wishes. Guidance on what happens after you pass away, final arrangements, and key details so no one has to guess. It covers how you would like to be remembered, what matters to you about your care, and where to find your accounts and papers.
The philosophy of this hub
Most tools for staying in touch today are noisy. Endless group threads. Feeds designed to keep you scrolling. Algorithms that decide who matters.
Family & Friends is the opposite. Small circles. Slow updates. A quiet photo of a grandkid's birthday, not buried in a hundred other images from strangers. A note from your daughter, not lost in a string of forwarded memes.
The goal is not to replace texting or calling. It is to give the people who love you a warmer, more intentional place to stay close.
You are in charge
Every piece of Family & Friends respects your choices. You decide who is in your Circle. You decide what each person sees. You can remove anyone at any time, for any reason, and you do not have to explain yourself.
The people in your life matter most. Family & Friends just gives them a better place to show up for you.
