Signing up: for an older adult

If you are the older adult signing up for SeniorThrive yourself, here is how. About five minutes. No credit card needed for the trial.

Signing up for SeniorThrive takes about five minutes. You do not need a credit card to start. You do not need to download an app. You only need an email address and a few minutes to yourself.

What you need

  • A phone, tablet, or computer with a web browser.

  • An email address you check regularly.

  • Five quiet minutes.

Step by step

  1. Open your web browser and go to app.seniorthrive.com.

  2. Tap Sign up.

  3. Choose I am the older adult. This tells us to set up the view made for you.

  4. Enter your first name, last name, and email address. Create a password you will remember.

  5. Check your email for a verification message, and tap the link inside. This confirms your email is yours.

  6. Tell us a little about you: your birthday, your home address, and whether you live alone or with someone. Your address helps SeniorThrive tailor suggestions to your area and fills in your emergency card for you. None of this is shared without your say-so.

  7. That is it. You are in.

What happens next

You will land on My Day, your home screen. Your ThriveScore starts at 25 and will grow from there. We will gently walk you through a few first steps: your first Daily Check-In, your first Room Check, and adding your first medication. Take them at your own pace. A separate article, Your first week, walks through what to do and when, if you like a little structure.

About the 14-day trial

The Essential plan is $29 a month, or $290 a year, and it is free for your first fourteen days. No credit card required. Because you signed up yourself, your 14 days start today.

If it feels worth it, you can add your payment details and continue. If it does not, you do not have to do anything. We do not auto-charge. Your account moves to the Free plan, which stays free forever, and your data is preserved in case you come back.

You can read the details in What it costs, and what the trial looks like.

If you get stuck

Tap the chat bubble in the corner, and Avery, our chat assistant, will help. You can also ask a family member to sit with you. Many people do it together, and that is a fine way to start.
