Using the Symptom Tracker

Small symptoms add up to a story your doctor needs to hear. Here is how to jot one down, how to see patterns over time, and when SeniorThrive might suggest you call someone.

By the time you are sitting in the doctor's office, you have forgotten half of what you wanted to tell them.

The Symptom Tracker is the quiet place to jot something down the moment you notice it, so you still have the story when you need it.

To log a symptom

  1. Go to My HealthSymptom Tracker from the side menu.

  2. Tap Add a Symptom.

  3. Pick from the common list (headache, dizziness, joint pain, shortness of breath, and more), or type your own in a few words.

  4. Tell us how strong it was, on a simple scale. A small scratch versus something that stopped you cold.

  5. Add a short note if you want. "Started after lunch." "Happened when I stood up too fast." "Lasted about an hour."

  6. Tap Save.

The whole thing takes less than a minute. The more honest and simple your note, the more useful it is later.

Seeing your patterns

Tap any symptom on your list to see when it has shown up before. A headache at three in the afternoon, twice a week for the last month, is the kind of pattern your doctor wants to hear about.

You can also tap My Symptom Story to see the last thirty days at a glance. It is a simple timeline, in your own words, ready to share at your next visit.

When a symptom is serious

SeniorThrive is not a medical service, and it does not diagnose. But it does know a few patterns worth paying attention to.

If you log something that could signal a real emergency, chest pain, sudden weakness on one side, severe shortness of breath, you will see a gentle message suggesting you call 911 or your doctor right away. It is not an alarm. It is a reminder to trust your body, because your body often knows before the rest of you does.

Bringing it to your doctor

Before your next appointment, tap Share with Doctor. You will get a short, clean summary of the symptoms you have logged, ready to email, print, or hand over on your phone.

No long paragraphs. No medical jargon. Just the pattern, in your words, at a glance.

Who sees your symptoms

Only you, and the people in your Circle you have chosen to share your health with. Symptoms are as personal as medications. We treat them that way.
