To connect your Google Calendar, sign in first.
This page explains how it works. The tool itself is inside your SeniorThrive account.
If you already keep your doctor appointments, family birthdays, and weekly plans in Google Calendar, you do not need to enter them twice. Connect Google Calendar once, and your existing events appear in SeniorThrive alongside everything else on your calendar.
One place for everything you have planned.
Your calendar is part of Essential, and pauses on the Free plan.
To connect your Google Calendar
Open Daily Life and tap Calendar and Reminders. When the On your calendar card is on My Day, See my calendar opens the same page.
Tap Connect Google Calendar.
You will be taken to Google to sign in. Use the Google account where your calendar lives.
Google will ask if SeniorThrive can see your calendar. Tap Allow.
You will be brought back to SeniorThrive, and your events will start showing up within a few seconds.
What appears, and what does not
Your existing Google Calendar events show up on your SeniorThrive calendar. Doctor appointments, lunch with a friend, a birthday. You will see them on the day they are scheduled. On My Day, the On your calendar card shows the next thing on today's list and counts today's Google events among your items.
It works the other way too: SeniorThrive can place your medicine times onto your Google Calendar so they show up on your phone, smart speaker, or watch. SeniorThrive sends the reminder either way; your Google Calendar simply mirrors it. We never delete your Google events or change what you created there.
Your calendar is private
Your calendar events belong to you. Nobody in your Circle sees them unless you turn that on in Settings, under Privacy & Sharing. Even then, you choose who sees what.
We also do not sell any of it, ever. If you want the full picture, read the privacy article.
To disconnect later
If you ever change your mind, open Daily Life, tap Calendar and Reminders, and tap Disconnect. Your Google Calendar events stop appearing in SeniorThrive. Nothing is deleted from Google. You can reconnect any time.
If events are not showing up
Try these, in order:
Make sure you signed in with the right Google account. Many people have more than one.
Check that the events are on the dates you expect in Google Calendar itself.
Leave the calendar and open it again from Daily Life. It picks up your Google events fresh each time it opens.
If you use a work or school Google account, your organization may restrict third-party calendar access. Try connecting a personal Gmail account instead.
If it still does not work, Avery can help.
